What Is This?

Techno-Amish Village is an open-source, interactive 3D experience built to showcase the Nostr protocol and its vibrant ecosystem. The barn is built from over 100 real open-source projects that make Nostr work — hover over the timbers to discover them, and click to visit their repositories.

The village is home to prominent Nostr community members, each with their own building. It’s a living space powered by real relay data, meant to educate, inspire, and celebrate the decentralized future.

What Can You Do?

• Explore the barn — Each piece represents a real Nostr project. Hover for details, click to visit the repo.
• Enter a house — Click any village building to step inside and see that person’s recent Nostr posts on the walls.
• Leave a note — Log in with Nostr and write on a building’s community wall for others to read.
• Watch live data — Ground radar cells, river fish, and the GM Garden are all driven by live relay feeds.
• Zap the tree — Send sats to grow the village’s community pine tree.
• Toggle features — Open the Features panel to enable fireflies, sunrise, proverbs, banjo music, web-of-trust lines, and more.
• Deconstruct the barn — Watch the barn disassemble piece by piece, revealing every project that holds it together.
